I thank you for your honesty about how God has helped you gain freedom again, Ali. What hope you give to those of us who fight these battles and feel so torn between our desire for God and the desires of our addictions.
Ali, I've always appreciated your heart, which authentically journeys with Christ. This post is honest and weighty. I look forward to more nuggets of wisdom from you as you integrate personal experience, revelation, and wisdom of those who walked before you.
Thank you for sharing your honest and transparent journey of working through alcohol’s role in your life. How wonderful it is to hear the Spirit’s voice as He reveals to us those things in our lives that might be hindering our relationship with Him or hurting us. I appreciate your willingness to share how you worked through the process and where you are today. Blessings.
by God’s grace, i found this post. i resonate and relate so much with your story. today, i started the Love Life Sober book. i feel afraid but hopeful… mostly afraid of failure, once again. but also hopeful that God has led me this far, and He won’t stop leading me now. your journey gives me hope that i can actually overcome this never-ending cycle. ❤️
Oh Jennifer, my heart goes out to you my friend! Here to support and cheer you on in whatever way I can. Trust the process, stay in it…and let God transform your desires and cravings along the way. He can do it. And will. Hugs as you begin!!! Ill be praying for you
